Achievement: Has led negotiations for dozens of international agreements on critical issues, including extradition, counterterrorism and the environment, and is influencing human rights policies to protect civil and political rights of individuals worldwide.

Position: Director and Deputy Director of Intelligence for the Afghan Threat Finance Cell

Agency: U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Department of the Treasury

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan

Achievement: Leading a unique, interagency effort to identify and disrupt the flow of funding from the Afghan opium trade and other illicit sources to the Taliban, al-Qaeda and other terrorist and insurgent groups in Afghanistan.
